vivo X80 Pro available in Europe. How much does it cost?

Today, the Chinese manufacturer officially introduces the Vivo X80 Pro to the European market. Yes, the latest X-series smartphone will also be available in Polish distribution and maybe let’s start there. Sales in our country will start on June 27. And now the most important thing – vivo X80 Pro was priced at 5999 PLN.

Just right? A lot of? Or maybe too much? It is certainly worth referring to the competition, because, for example, Xiaomi 12 Pro greeted us with the price of 5199 PLN, the Galaxy S22 Ultra in the basic variant started from the ceiling of 5899 PLN, but OPPO Find X5 Pro appeared at exactly the same price, and Xperia 1 IV is even more expensive, because you have to spend up to 6399 PLN on it. So it looks like vivo is just getting on board with the latest craze, because sadly such offerings aren’t unique.

To sweeten a big expense a bit, early volunteers will get a 50W FlashCharge wireless charger with the phone. vivo will send them after completing the documents proving the purchase. However, it is unknown how long this promotion will last, so it will definitely be worth it.

Will the vivo X80 Pro be better than the models mentioned above? We will know the answer after the tests. On paper, you’ll no doubt like the specification. There’s no doubt that the main star here is the camera.

The highest level of mobile photography – promises the producer

The vivo X80 Pro camera was developed in collaboration with ZEISS. It’s not just about the optical elements, but also about the recording modes co-designed by ZEISS – ZEISS Cinematic Video Bokeh or ZEISS Superb Portrait with the new ZEISS Cinematic Style Bokeh effect. Of course, there are also solutions to deliver better night shots than the competition – ZEISS T* coatings and ZEISS Superb Night Camera and Pure Night View modes.

As for the lens configuration, there are four eyelets on the rear panel – the main 50 Mpix with a CNG array and OIS, wide-angle 48 Mpix with a 114-degree field of view, portrait 12 Mpix with a gimbal and OIS and an 8 Mpix periscope with OIS and the 60x HyperZoom function. This is complemented by the 32 Mpix selfie camera.
